Dr. BJ Lanser moved to Colorado in 2013 after completing his residency training at Children’s Medical Center and UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX.  Following his fellowship training at National Jewish Health, he remained on faculty in the Department of Pediatrics at National Jewish Health with an appointment of Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.  He is the Director of the Pediatric Food Allergy Program and the Program Director of the Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at National Jewish Health.  BJ joined the CAAS Board in 2019.

Dr. Lora Stewart moved to Colorado in 2001 for her residency at the University of Colorado and then completed fellowship training at National Jewish.  She has been practicing allergy and immunology in Denver for over a decade and has been with Allergy & Asthma Care and Prevention Center in south Denver since 2008.

Dr. Cullen Dutmer moved to Colorado in 2013 after completing his residency training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Following his fellowship training at National Jewish Health, he joined the Section of Allergy & Immunology at Children’s Hospital Colorado with an appointment of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.  His currently held positions at Children’s Hospital Colorado include Medical Director of Clinical Immunology, Co-Director of the Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Newborn Screening Program, and Associate Program Director of the Allergy & Immunology Fellowship.  He served as Vice President of the Colorado Allergy & Asthma Society from 2017-2019 and took on the position of Chairman in 2020.

Dr. David Flescher is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is the current Vice-President of the Colorado Allergy and Asthma Society. He is married and has two young boys.

Dr. Luke Webb M.D. moved to Colorado in 2010 where he practiced pediatric and adult allergy and immunology at Evans Army Community Hospital until he joined Asthma and Allergy Associates of Colorado Springs in 2012.

Dr. Nicole Barberis was born and raised in Colorado. Following her fellowship training at National Jewish Health/University of Colorado, she joined Boulder Valley Asthma and Allergy/Denver Allergy and Asthma.
